A Couple of SNES Tips, Game Gear fixes and new links

Looking for an easy way to remove the CIC chip from your SNES? Or how to remove the Power LED?

These tips are in preparation for the SuperCIC guide.

Also today, I have added a few links to a group of sites I stumbled across, I was looking for a replacement screen panel for my GBC and found a site with. The part that got my attention was the Game Gear fix kits that are sold.

Hello. I was inspired to RGB-mod my PC-engine console after reading your guide on mmmonkey.
Since I live in Sweden I only have access to PAL televisions so the J-NTSC format doesn't work at all on my TV.
Therefore i needed an RGB-signal to be able to use the PC-Engine at all.

But instead of soldering cables on the graphics chip I built an rgb-cable using a SCART-cable
with a custom connector to the PC-engines expansion port.
I works perfectly. The pc-enginge remained intact and was never modded in any way.

Are you interessted in photos and instructions from the mod to put on your website? Please e-mail me on mudden(at)home(dot)se
